If I use an xbox 360 controller as Controller 1, I can do everything without problems, but as before if I try to start a multiplayer game, on the 2,3,4 gamepads I can only press A once and then nothing. I've tried switching the GameCube controller for another one, doesn't work. When I start Mario Kart, I get all the way to the main screen, can input the "Press A to start", but then the gamecube controller becomes unresponsive, and I can't do anything anymore. Of course some inputs stay blank since there are not enough buttons on the Gc controller. In PC mode, it displays them with a green square, and I can add/edit the controls (I use the wiiu classic controller model). In WiiU mode, it detects the mayflash controllers/ports, but displays a red square in the Inputs menu. I used to have Cemu crash on me when I tried to edit the inputs with the mayflash in pc mode, I don't recall what I've done exactly but it's not crashing anymore. I've also tried installing and using vjoy, without success (but I may have missed something somewhere)
